María Fernanda is a cultural manager and Psychology student at the Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès, with experience spanning cultural programming, international communications, and stakeholder engagement. Her work is grounded in a strong interest in human behavior, social dynamics, and the relationships between people, communities, and their environments.
She has held leadership and coordination roles within the cultural sector, including serving as Director of the Academy of the Cartagena International Film Festival and leading the Alliance Française film club
She also worked with Proimágenes Colombia as an International Promotion Assistant, supporting the international positioning of Colombian cinema at major industry events, including the Cannes Film Festival. In addition, she has been invited as a speaker at the National University of Colombia on topics related to film clubs and cultural industries. Her current academic and professional interests focus on understanding the interactions between individuals and the social, cultural, and ecological systems they inhabit. She is particularly interested in applying interdisciplinary perspectives to foster collaboration, learning, and systemic change.
