Nicolas is a researcher and emerging urban planning professional with a multidisciplinary background spanning mechanical engineering, sustainable infrastructure, and mobility systems. His work focuses on understanding how cities, infrastructure, and transport systems can support more resilient, efficient, and sustainable development pathways.
Driven by a strong interest in systems thinking and societal impact, Nicolas has progressively expanded his expertise beyond engineering into urban planning, mobility, and sustainable development. He is particularly interested in bridging technical, social, and policy perspectives to address complex urban and infrastructure challenges
During his internship at Altamira, Nicolas contributed to research on green infrastructure finance and regenerative investment approaches, supporting the development of innovative strategies to mobilize investment for sustainable infrastructure. This experience strengthened his commitment to pursuing interdisciplinary solutions that connect finance, planning, and sustainability objectives
Nicolas subsequently specialized in urban planning with a focus on transport and mobility systems. He is currently conducting research on emerging mobility technologies, including air mobility and travel, exploring their potential implications for future urban and regional development.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is pursuing further studies and research in Urban Planning and Mobility.
